This current blog has followed and stood by me for the past 3-4 years. All thanks to it, I have got an avenue to vent my frustrations and share my joy with my friends. I enjoyed using xanga as it is very user-friendly. It is more user-friendly than blog.ger (in my opinion)! Haha! I'm going to officially announce that I'm going to discard this current blog!
My new blog will be an open blog and I'm going to share it with my students. Now that I'm an edu.cator and knowing that I have limitless influence on them, I wish to channel my main focus to my students and impart them the right values. I wish to connect with them even outside the classroom. And of course, the topics, people and things that I'm going to talk or mention about in my next blog will be tactfully chosen.

I survived the first week of school.
There are so many readings to read and I have barely started.
Just like my Sec school days and JC school days, I enjoyed all my Eng.lish lectures and tuto.rials in .N.I.E. too.
We grew up learning Eng.lish without learning the history and cultural aspects of it. Its hard for people to develop an interest for a language without learning about its history and culture. But I'm glad that my love for Eng.lish persevered thus far.
Gonna turn myself into a Grammarian within half a year. :)
My social.studies. classes are only going to start in March.
3/4 of the people in my Edu.cational.Psych.Tuto.rial.class are ex-au.ditors. They unanimously said that they wanted a career switch because of low job satisfaction in their previous jobs. -_-''' What makes them think that teac.hing is the easier way out? I wonder.
I have just gotten my hostel room. I'm staying at hall 16 which is just right opposite the school. But I have to live with a stranger for the next 3.5 months. Dawn got a room in another hall which is kinda far away. Sigh. I hope that my roomie is a nice person.
Have to pack up and move my things into my hostel room soon.
Gonna turn 24 soon. My age seems like a meaningless number to me these days. Its just another number which will only increase and will never decrease.
Miss my students in that school.

Day 1
That's us on the plane!
We took a cab to Tango.Vibrant.Living.Place.Hotel! It's a new hotel in the heart of Pratu.nam. It's just a street away from Bai.yoke.Sky.Hotel. But many cab drivers do not know its exact location so I have to direct them to the hotel. I will only stay here again if I'm going with a small group of friends. It costs about $62 per room per night. x2 the price of the usual apartment that I stay at but the good location made up for the extra costs. :)

Right after we unloaded our bagguages, I went to rebond my hair while ZM went to shop around the mall alone. Yeah, she had gotten herself 3 pairs of heels in 3 hours! LOL!!
We were famished after my hair was done! Quickly went to the nearest M.K outlet for lunch! It's a must to eat at M.K every time I visit Bang.kok. I don't get to taste roasted duck like M.K's anywhere in Sg. Serious!

The taste is simply unforgettable after you have tasted it. Net and Eileen still miss its taste once in a while. LOL!
After lunch, we went back to the hotel to take a nap because I didn't even catch a wink the night before. In the evening, I met my cousin, P'Nan, at Central.World!

We had a light meal at Yum & Tum. P'Nan came to S'pore a month ago for a short vacation and she stayed at my house. I have yet to update about it because I was bz travelling for the past month. Oops!

We ate fruit salad, fish balls and kang kong. Decided to have a light meal because we would be going to ZM's bro's restaurant later that night.

It was a long day for us! We slept at about 3am that night! Gosh!
Day 2
We almost skipped breakfast because we didn't want to get out of bed. LOL! Still, we got out of bed reluctantly! Plati.num was our 1st shopping.stop! Had to get some caffeine to wake myself up before I start shopping!
We chionged for a few hours and we missed lunch time!!!!! Decided to have something light before dinner and forget about a proper lunch. LOL!
Ate sal.mon.sa.shimi!! That 5 slices of sa.shimi costs $10 sing dollars! Haiyooooo!!!!!
Thinking back, I must be very crazy to even order that. With $10 sing dollars I can easily get a buffet meal in Thai.land. I must be too hungry to even think rationally. Yup.

In the evening, I met up with my cousin, P'Nun, and we cabbed to the chao.praya.river for our Christ.mas Eve cruise dinner. It costs 1250 baht (SGD $53.50) per person. I didn't want to just celebrate the day in a random hotel so I thought of hopping onto a cruise. I knew that the costs of the dinner was considered expensive for my cousin so I offered to pay for her share!! I thought that I ought to do so since I'm already working and I'm earning much more than her. Most importantly, she always takes care of me whenever I go over. :D

Asked for a photo taken with the Santas and they said that they love to take pics with cute girls. LOL!! Thai boys love to talk like that! Its like its part of their culture to sweet talk and I'm picking up the sweet talk skills from them. But I shall use my sweet talk skills sparingly and only to certain people who will not take it seriously. WAHAHAHA!!

I think 3 of us were really lucky because we got the outdoor seats and we got a marvelous view of the surroundings.
International buffet dinner. We met lotsa aju.mas on board. They sort of dampened many people's mood on board. They were talking really loudly and they weren't really queuing orderly. Some of them knocked into me just to get their way through and my plate of food almost almost almost flew away. Grrrrrr! Sometimes I wonder why are they so gentle and sweet looking when they are young (as portrayed in the drama serials) but they changed totally when they age. *Faint* Alright, enough of aju.mas!!!!

Classy 5* 6* hotels along the Chao.phraya.river. A night's stay in these hotels can easily costs about $300 - $600 Sing dollars per night.

I had a random crazy idea to have a belated birthday celebration for ZM's birthday. So when ZM was bathing. I chionged down to the hotel's cafe and ordered 2 slices of cakes. The hotel staff actually asked me if Im celebrating my friend's birthday. I said ya and he told me not to worry and that he would arrange for a surprise! LOL!!! So I switched off all lights and hurried ZM out of the bathroom. Knock knock, here came the hotel staff and we sang a birthday song for ZM! LOL!!!

Day 3
We went to Siam!

We went to change for more Thai baht at the U.O.B. bank in Siam.Discovery. I was taken aback when I saw the teller. He looked a little bit like Ron but he is definitely more good looking than Ron!!!! LOL! ZM agreed that he is good looking as well. Haha! I regretted not taking a photo with himmmmm! I shall go back to that bank in June! LOL!!
Stopped by Star.bucks to get my Iced.Signature.Choco! Woohooooo!!
We shopped in Siam.Square and in the evening, I met up with P'Nun once again for dinner at Suki.shi in The.Mall.Bangapi.

Met up with P'Nun's Thai buddies at an open air pub/restaurant after dinner to say hi to them! I knew them for about 1.5 years! They're a crazy bunch! LOL!! One of them asked me what did I do my face because I look younger than the last time they see me. I didn't do anything! I simply laugh uncontrollably often and I changed my hairstyle. :D I think I like my current hair length! It suits me and its easy to manage. But I looked 14 15-ish in this hairstyle though. Who cares since Im going to be a student for the next 1 year. LOL!
Day 4
Day 4 was meant for Jatu.jak but we only managed to walk around for a few hours.

We went home in the evening and that marked the end of my Bang.kok.Shopping.Trip! Honestly speaking, I didn't buy much this time round. I felt that there weren't enough time! It's ok I shall look forward to my next shopping trip to Bang.kok!

Ja.pan trip day 5: Toyohashi-Mount Fuji
We woke up early in the morning to have breakfast in the hotel before we went around the hotel to take more photos. :)
After we checked out from the hotel, we took a hotel bus to Toyohashi train station!
We were there to experience a bullet train ride from Toyohashi to Hamamatze!
The bullet train is moving at about 320km/hr?!

It was a mere 7-8 mins ride for us but our tour bus driver had to set off 1.5 hours earlier than us to drive the bus from Toyohashi to Hamamatze?!? Poor him! We then continued on our journey to Mount Fuji...
Tadah!!!! Isn't it beautiful? The top part of the mountain is covered with snow!
The tour guide said that we were really lucky coz we got to see mount fuji so clearly at the 1st visit. There are some people who went there up to 12 times but have never once caught a good view of that beautiful mountain.

After dinner, we made our usual walk around the place that we stayed at...

Ja.pan trip day 6: Tokyo Dis.ney.Sea
We woke up earlier in the morning to check out the lake near our onsen.

The driver drove us back to To.kyo and we went straight to Dis.ney.Sea! Our tix actually costs SGD$90 and its included in our tour package!

We were feeling very very very cold @ Disney.Sea because its located right beside the sea. Low temperature + sea breeze sent us several shivers down our spines!

The most exciting ride we took that day was "Tower of terror"! We were elevated up to 30 storeys twice and we had 2 free falls to the 1st storey within 2mins. That was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had lunch at a restaurant in Disney.Sea called "The Horizon". It came to us as a surprise that the food wasn't as expensive as we expected it to be. I ordered cordon bleu (pork cutlet with bacon and cheese in it) and it costs about SGD $18. Initially, we thought that this would cost about $30! The pork cutlet was nicely fried and the cheese oozed out the moment I cut the pork cutlet! Value for $$!
We caught a parade show too! Donald.Duck is so cuteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

In the evening, we checked into Keio.Plaza.Hotel in Shin.juku Tokyo! Shin.juku is a famous shopping area in Tokyo.

We stood along the street, chit chatting with 2 of our tour guides when a group of boys approached us and gave this to us! The tour guide then explained to us that those handsome boys are gigolos!!!!! Some of them are really good looking. LOL!!!
Ja.pan trip day 7: Tokyo
We had some time in the morning and noon, so we went back to Shinju.ku shopping street for a walk!
We saw a protest and we took several pics of it! LOL!!
I shopped @ Uni.qlo!! Bought 3 pair of pants and a top! They were slightly cheaper as compared to Sg!
Feeling happy with my purchases. At least I bought some stuff from Ja.pan!
We also went to the observatory tower right opposite our hotel!

Meals were not included when we were at the theme parks. So we had lunch at a fastfood restaurant in Universal.Studios.

We had a fun time at Universal.Studios! Bought lotsa Elmo stuff and we played about 3-4 rides. The waiting time for each ride was about 40 mins - 60 mins. Hence, we only managed to cover this much for the entire day!
Our tour leaders came to pick us up and brought us to this place for a Sha.bu Sha.bu dinner!

Ja.pan trip Day 4: Kyoto & Toyohashi
We left Osa.ka early in the morning and the tour driver drove us to Kyoto!

At night, we put on the Yukatas provided in the hotel and we camwhored for at least 45 mins?!?! LOL!!1
